Dr. Patricia Poon is an experienced Specialist in Clinical Oncology in Hong Kong .Besides her fervent pursuit in treatment of cancer for more than 20 years, she has also cultivated a strong passion for Arts. Dr. Poon is an enthusiastic art collector, with particular interest in the genre of modern and contemporary Chinese and Asian artworks and paintings. In juxtaposition with her accomplishments in the medical field, Dr. Poon has also attained academic achievements in the Arts faculty including ‘Certificate in Curating, Art Gallery and Museum’ from the University of Manchester, U.K. and Sotheby's institute of Art. 

 

Dr. Poon has close alliance with Hospitals and NGO’s in Hong Kong, as well as with professional arts therapists and local contemporary artists. With Artzwell as a platform , she endeavors to create a nuance between the involved parties , amidst the immersive surrounding of our facility. Utilizing arts as a media, she hopes to enhance the health and wellbeing of the society, and to promulgate cultural accessibility and equality in the community. Her vision is to transform Artzwell into a vivid manifestation of how “Arts Changes Lives”, by sharing her expertise in both Arts and Medicine with people in Hong Kong.
